To address this issue, heat sinks are utilized, and graphene aluminum foil thermal pads play a crucial role in the cooling process. These thermal pads effectively draw heat away from the controller and flash chips, conducting it to their surfaces and facilitating its dispersion into the surrounding air.

They can be passive, relying on natural convection to dissipate heat, or active, using fans to enhance cooling.
