The “data rapid destruction” feature serves as a security measure to ensure that sensitive information stored on the SSD can be quickly and thoroughly wiped out when necessary, preventing unauthorized access to the data. It can be particularly valuable in scenarios where secure data disposal or protection against data breaches is paramount, such as in military, government, or corporate environments.

How does it work?

The custom linker’s PIN is linked to the SSD controller’s GPIO (general purpose input/output pins). If the GPIO is connected to GND for more than 3 seconds, One-Click delate feature is triggered, leading to the erasure of all data within the FLASH memory, which is then replaced with zeros. Consequently, the SSD returns to an uninitialized state. However, once the SSD is powered off and back on, you can create new partitions and resume using it.
